Back in the mid 90's, my friend Jarrod asked me to help him finish off a tune he was writing. I helped out with a verse and the ending. Grayling ended up recording it and released it on their first EP cassette. The last time we spoke he asked me when was I going to release my version? I promised to do so but, I only wish I would have done this sooner.
I spoke with Shawn Grib to see if he thought it was cool for me to move ahead with my promise. Not only did he give me his blessing, he offered to record the rhythm tracks with John Henderson. They nailed it one take...
This is my homage to you brother. I hope the fishing is good and the guitars are loud.
